Got the shelves up and heat tape working. Next is the thermostat and moving my ball python to it. Cant wait to hit an expo to get some new baby noodles. This was easier than I thought it would be.

The oldest mice pups have their eyes open. They will be weaned sometime this week. Muffin and his albino females create agouti babies. I also lost a male rat. Not sure what happened to him he was doing fine the day before but I did get him to a pet store where he as being sold as a feeder and those usually aren’t the healthiest. But good news is some of the females look pregnant. Ill get pictures some time this week of the mice.
I now have my shelves for the snake rack. Thermostat is in transit, not sure whats going on with the heat tape yet. The rack will either be in my room or a spare room we have. Not sure yet because I also wanted to put my mice on it and they are very noisy at night. I’ll keep you all updated as we get everything together.

I am no longer planning on going to an expo next weekend, instead I will be using the money I would spend there on a snake to build a “snake rack”. I say it like that because I am not really building a rack, we are going to be using free standing shelves, the usual flex watt and thermostat. I am really excited for this even more than a new noodle because this means in the future I could be doing some breeding and expand my collection of colubrids, seeing I only have a corn snake XD.( Sorry Sam, Balls aren’t really my thing.) I want to get into milk snakes and kingsnakes. I plan on breeding my corn Spot in the future as well. Fun, new and exciting things are in the future and I cant wait.
