I keep seeing people in the ball python tag who keep taking pictures and disturbing their snakes while they are in shed. When a snake, any snake, is in shed it is best to avoid handling or bothering them to help keep stress to a minimum.
I have also seen quite a few people who are making their Ball Pythons swim in their bath tubs. This can also cause high amounts of stress, as Ball pythons are terrestrial snakes and are not the best swimmers. While they can swim, they don’t normally and will avoid swimming in water that is deep to them as much as possible. Dropping a terrestrial snake into a tub of water to watch it swim will just cause unnecessary stress in the animal.
