I don’t know how many of you are aware, but as of April 10th, Anacondas and reticulated pythons are to be added to the Lacy Act. If you aren’t aware of what the Lacy Act is, it is a ban placed on animals that doesn’t allow them to be transported beyond state lines. So this would greatly hurt anyone who was planning to buy these animals and doesn’t have a local seller, or breeders who mainly ship their animals to buyers around the country.
I can’t stand for this and I don’t think anyone else should be able to. This fucking fear of snakes has gone on long enough. Would any of you snake haters stand by and let them place a ban on dogs, cats, birds, and rodents? WOULD YOU? No you fucking wouldn’t. This needs to be stopped.
DON’T LET THEM TAKE OUR SNAKES Fellow Americans, let’s make our voice heard, MAKE THEM overturn this damn Lacy Act. Don’t just get the retics and anacondas off of that list, but the Burmese pythons as well. I WON’T let them take my snakes from me!
