I am now officially terrified of snakes. 

#let’s just take a moment to appreciate that gif of a scientist casually swirling blood around in a wine glass

a) The Russell’s viper has phospolyphasic venom, a very rare venom amongst snakes, and unless you live in southeast asia, you will not encounter a snake with this kind of venom.
b) only about 14% of all snake species are venomous
c) The picture above is of a King Cobra, therefore not in Australia.
d) More people are killed by fridges every year than snakes. Are you terrified of fridges? No? Then stop being a little bitch and respect them as the perfectly evolved predatory hunters that they are.
