Just some pictures of the babies!
Savi behaving badly! She was doing it all week! Squeezing through her door so we had to add more screws. Then she balanced on her tail as she climbed the 3ft wall so she could grip and pull herself up on the ledge of her enclosure. She has a foot of space between the roof and the wall for air circulation and how she figured that one out I’m not sure. Had to move her basking spot off the wall cause she could easily clear the foot and a half wall climb. She’s so silly and strong as a horse! Since she would not stop all day I took her out and we cuddled in bed for a good hour or so. She wanted mommy time :).
Then there’s Simon who enjoyed a good play time with mommy and daddy. Oh and a bath. We’re using Simon to introduce Bennie and Jennie to reptiles. Because he’s relatively calm and won’t bite the crap out of them if they get to close, he’s became the teaching tool. After Buggaboo, I don’t want to take any chances :( of course we want nothing bad to happen to Si. So we watch the interaction very carefully. Jennie is fine with all of the reptiles but Bennie wants to play. All 26lbs of her gets way to excited.
Maximoo had had a lot of time out lately too! He’s very lovely as usual and just too cute!
I haven’t posted many pictures of Sumatra lately so here’s a couple. :) he’s calmed down a shit ton since being with us. We have not dared to hold him but he eats every week and doesn’t strike at us through the glass anymore. We even played peek-a-boo ;).
